Zeroflame Fire Retardant Treatment soaks into the surface of timber, leaving the appearance virtually unchanged. Unlike varnishes, it doesn’t create a clear glaze, allowing the wood’s natural beauty to shine through. Once applied, the fire retardant properties remain active for the lifetime of the substrate. This treatment achieves Euroclass B s2 d0, equivalent to UK Classes ‘0’ and ‘1’ (BS 476 Part 6/7), on solid timbers, making it a robust choice for fire protection.

Where to Use:

This versatile treatment is suitable for solid timber in both domestic and commercial settings:
  • External applications: log cabins, timber cladding, fencing, garages, sheds, saunas, and more.
  • Internal applications: timber ceilings, wall panelling, tongue & groove, staircases, floors, and more.
